The Human Microbiomic and Genetic Epidemiology Lab (MGEL) advances the understanding of cancer and cardiovascular disease by examining human host genetics and human microbiomics, and their interactions with diet and lifestyle factors.  We conduct large population based studies, using multidisciplinary approach incorporating epidemiology, bioinformatics, genomics, microbiology, and nutrition.
